Q: When I visited your blog and placed the order, the ready stock item was still available. Why do you say that it is Out of Stock(OOS)?
A: All ready stock apparels/accessories listed come in limited stock per design & color. All orders are on a first come first serve basis. Someone may have already placed the order before you did. Hence, there is a possibility that more popular items are ordered and confirmed before I have the chance to update the stock status.
If the item is OOS, I will note your order and inform you if it will be restocked. If no restocking will be done, you can decide to purchase another item / get a refund.
Q:Regarding apparels, the measurement for bust stated 40cm.What does that mean?
A: The measurement is taken from one side with the garment lying flat. The bust measurement of 40cm can fit up to bust chest circumference of 80cm, up to perhaps 82 cm if the material is stretchy. This can be measured using a soft measuring tape loosely around the fullest part of your bust (usually over the nipples), keeping the tape measure straight all the way around your body.
Q:This is my first time buying online. How do I know if the garment fits me without trying?
A: You can use a measuring tape to do a comparison on yourself based on our mentioned measurements for the garment Tip: You could measure your own clothings first. ie when buying top take a top you usually wear and measure, for dress take a dress etc and then compare it with our measurements.
Q: Can I exchange if I don't like the item purchased?
A: All efforts have been made to check all items for defects before mailing out Hence, I do not accept exchanges/refunds except for very special cases( case by case). For special cases requesting for exchanges/refunds please notify me within 3-5 working days of mail out of your items. Customers need to bear the postage charge for the return to DressyHut and back to their own address for any replacements made.
Q:What is the difference between normal postage and Registered mail?
A: Normal Postage
There is no tracking number for your parcel. If you did not receive your parcel, SingPost is unable to track the item.
Registered mail
A tracking number is provided for your parcel. You can go to www.singpost.com.sg to track the status of your items.
Recommendation: Please opt for registered mail if you are buying 2 or more items.It acts as an insurance. DressyHut and SingPost are unable to track items for normal mail.
Q:Is there a difference in the delivery method between normal and registered mail?
A: There is no difference on the delivery method. For small parcel, the postman will slot into your mailbox regardless of normal or registered mail. For bigger parcel, the postman will deliver to your doorstep. If no one is at home, the postman will issue a collection receipt. You will need to visit the nearest SingPost office (with the receipt) to receive your parcel on the next working day.
Q:How long does SingPost take to deliver?
A: Approximately 2 - 3 working days. It may take longer during festive periods. ( ie Xmas, CNY etc) For Registered mail, a collection receipt will be left at your doorstep for your collection of the parcel at the nearest post office if nobody's home to do the receiving.
Q:I opted for normal postage and I have not received the parcel after 5 days, what can I do?
A: Call the nearby SingPost office to check. The postman might have forgotten to leave the collection receipt. Alternatively, please contact DressyHut and ask to take note of the return parcel. (Please do not accuse me for not sending out the parcel. I will ensure that all items are posted. However, please understand that I am not the one delivering the parcel. )
